Chaska demo game: July 10, 2005 From a report in Aces, the newsletter of the Quicksteps, edited by Bob Tholkes GOOD THRONG FOR CHASKA SHOWING. The demonstration of the 1860 game at Chaska Athletic Park proceeded on Sunday the 10th, despite hot weather and in front of a throng of perhaps 400 Chaska "Cubs" amateur base ball followers. The Quicksteps and St. Croix raced through six innings in 45 minutes while Mr. Luloff used the public address to describe the play and review our rules and practices. |
